Funeral services are the work that is carried out by the funeral directors. They work for the funeral homes and they handle all the details of a funeral ceremony and also make arrangements for the memorial service. This may consist of having the body preserved or it can involve arranging a memorial plaque to be laid on the coffin at the funeral service.
